Location: Primarily Antrim (with occasional travel to Ballymena, Coleraine or Randalstown)Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible schedule available)
Salary: £12.60 - £14.20 per hour depending on experience

Right now, we’re looking for a Part-Time Loans Officer to join our friendly team in Antrim. What You’ll Be Doing
As a Loans Officer, you’ll be a trusted guide for our members through the lending journey—from the first conversation to loan approval. You’ll play a key role in keeping our lending operations running smoothly, while supporting our mission to offer fair, accessible financial solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Member Engagement
• Deliver friendly, professional service every time
• Support local marketing and community outreach efforts
• Maintain member confidentiality and trust
Lending Operations
• Assess and process loan applications fairly and efficiently
• Meet with members to discuss their needs and offer guidance
• Make lending decisions within your delegated authority
• Communicate loan outcomes clearly and supportively
Teamwork & Compliance
• Work closely with our credit and operations teams
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
• Promote best practice in lending and member support
• Participate in ongoing training (including working toward the Pathways Certificate in Credit Union Practice)

• A good understanding of responsible lending practices
• Confidence in making informed lending decisions
• Experience in a financial or regulated environment is a plus
